PROCESS
1. Getting to know each other
After you set your eyes on Roselind Co. please head to this page and fill in the client inquiry form. Next we’ll have a first call to find out what you need and to see, if we’re a good fit.
Following that we’re sending you a tailored proposal including different packages that you can choose from, an outlining of your goals, the costs and lots of information. If you decide we’re the one, you sign the contract and make a deposit to save your spot in our calendar and we’re good to go. We’re adding you to our client management system and setting up the project timeline. A typical branding and website project takes about 16 weeks.
2. Creative Direction
Before officially starting you’ll fill in a questionnaire that tells us exactly what makes your business so unique. This step is so important in order to create a design that will get you measurable results. Our process has an in-depth strategic approach that is not only about pretty looks, but also aims to reach your goals faster.
You’ll receive a creative direction presentation including your brand vision, audience evaluation, brand vibe and some visual inspiration to make sure we’re on the same page with the direction of your new design. This is not only essential for the design, but also for all of your business decisions and for building a strong connection with your audience.
3. Brand Identity
Next we’re getting into crafting your brand identity. That means creating the logo design including the primary logo and secondary logos and we’re also choosing your brand fonts and color palette. We make sure that all elements work well together to catch your audience’s attention and have your business recognizable over all channels.
We can have up to two rounds of revisions and at the end you’ll receive a full Branding Suite with all of your brand assets. This guide will be a useful tool for you to always have on hand to either read through your mission statement again, check on logo usage or find a color code.
4. Screen Design
It’s time to create your online presence and the digital home for your business. First up it’s key that you have all of your website content such as images, videos and texts ready. This is a lengthy process and must be completed before starting with the mock ups in order to have a smooth process.
At the same time you’ll fill in a second questionnaire and we’ll create a web direction looking at your website goals and the structure and navigation of your site. With those goals in mind we then design the fully custom website in a prototyping tool and keep in close contact with you until it all fits your vision. The cool thing is that, while it’s still a graphic design at this point, the tool allows you to already click trough the pages to get a feeling for how your website flows after it’s developed.
5. Development
Now it’s onto translating the design into an actual website. We work with WordPress for blogs and portfolio websites and Shopify for e-commerce stores. Of course your website is going be fully responsible to work across all devices. We’re developing your new design on a demo site to make sure your current one works uninterrupted. If you don’t have a website yet, we can set up a “Coming Soon” page to get your audience excited for the launch.
After finishing the development we’re going through the site with you again to get your final approval. This is your chance to test all functions, provide feedback and prep it with any missing content before the launch.
6. Launch
Time to set a launch date and celebrate! It’s always a really special day to publish the new site after an intensive process of collaborating together. You’ll receive educational training videos that will walk you through the backend of your site so that you can make updates yourself in the future. You’ll also have two weeks of support after finishing our project for anything that might come up. After that we’re here to help you on an as-needed hourly basis.
Of course we’d love to keep in touch, so please let us know how your business changed after the launch. This is such a monumental step towards your goals and we’re so excited to share those moments with you.
