A post about this magical place can’t be missed to conclude or stay in Mallorca this summer. Our accommodation Finca Es Cabas deserves it’s own piece since it was so beautiful. We were lucky to get a recommendation by a friend, but didn’t expect it to be as stunning as it was. The finca is placed on a huge piece of land about 15 minutes north west of Palma. When you arrive you have to drive through an area full of olive trees and two locked gates first until you arrive at that beautiful driveway with cypresses. The building of the finca itself is incredibly dreamy and there are only about eight rooms/apartments, so you feel nearly alone there at times. One thing to consider is that normally it’s all booked with weddings or yoga retreats, so during the normal season (no corona) it’s tricky to get a room just for a vacation. I would write them a mail to ask which timeframes are still open before planning your stay.
The interiors are so well decorated in true Mallorquin design with lots of wood and printed fabrics in soft colors. I fell in love with how they put the fabric behind the glass closet doors and also loved all the cushions in the seating areas around the property. It’s all of great quality and the perfect mix of a luxury hotel and feeling home.
One of our favorite areas was the pool near a field of olive and orange trees. You could spend the most relaxing days there while having lovely views of the finca and surrounding hills. Speaking of them the property has their very own hiking trails through the hills which was perfect to get in some motion in the early morning when it was still cooler. The views of the island were spectacular!

We have truly found a heavenly place with Finca Es Cabas and can’t wait to return and stay there again. It’s location is perfect to get around the island and especially near the lovely west coast with incredible restaurants. And it’s a true retreat to let your soul rest and just enjoy the beautiful nature of Mallorca. If you love a quiet place which has a chic boutique feel and is very low key at the same time this finca hotel is for you.
