Feminine Spring Look at the Azalea Park

Faithfull the Brand Dress (currently on Sale!) / Preston&Olivia Hat (old similar here) / Cesta Collective Bag (currently on Sale!) / Nicholas Kirkwood Mules (old similar here)

Last week we checked out an azalea park near where my parents live. It was the perfect time, because they all have their peak blooming season at the moment. Since there are not a lot of occasions to dress up right now, I took this one and went all out. A new floral midi dress that would melt right into the backgrounds, my favorite mules and since the sun was out I took my favorite straw hat as well. I wore similar outfits in the Lowcountry exactly a year ago, but of course it felt different. Germans don’t really express this kind of feminine style very much that’s why I rather felt like a colorful bird to look at while strolling through the beautiful park. But the location was definitely right up my alley. The colors and the smell of the blooms was incredible and it was one of those perfect mild days.

You all know about my love for little basket bags and I always had an eye on the Cesta Collective ones. They’re handwoven by female artisans in Rwanda, Africa, and they only use renewable and sustainable materials. Now more than ever I love to support ethical and sustainable businesses (something I will always continue to do) and their bright designs are just gorgeous. When I saw this blush pink and green version via Matchesfashion I knew it was the one. The quality is wonderful and I love the fact that you can pull the drawstring to have your things safe.

To be honest I’m mostly living in house dresses and Lake Pajamas right now, so this little outing was so refreshing. To style a pretty outfit and have a targeted location felt normal. Of course we always watched out and kept our distances.

Go out into nature, dress up and enjoy the sun and fresh air!
