Loretta Caponi Smocked Cotton Poplin Dress (on major Sale!), Tory Burch Lee Radziwill Bag (also love this color), Nicholas Kirkwood Mules (old similar here and here), Wicker Earrings (old similar here)
There is a big trend going on on all my favorite grandmillennial accounts right now and I’m totally in. Nightgown or housedress styles are en vogue and actually the perfect piece to wear during this time. Big and comfy silhouettes with smocking and ruffle details that are easy to wear at home and also on a quick outing. The fabrics are light and there’s just no constrictive part that pinches your body anywhere. Sure they can remind you of something your granny would have worn to bed, but we’re all here for a bit granny chic right?

Loretta Camponi has the most wanted styles in this category out there. And after trying this affordable high street alternative, I knew I wanted to invest in one of her creations. Luckily this light blue style and a few other color ways are on Sale right now making it the perfect treat for yourself to wear at home during quarantine. The fabric quality is just immaculate and the smocking details are really soft on your body. Now I want to get this color too.

The more I feel like I know exactly what my style is, the more fun I have with my outfits and trying out new things in the fashion segment I love. It’s the best feeling to curate a closet with just pieces that feel me and make me happy. This will always be feminine and traditional cuts, colors and patterns. And even when they are a little bit unexpected like the nightgown trend, I know this dress is the best investment and a great quality piece to have. What do you think about the nightgown/housedress trend? Do you own any?
